The Ventspils Science Centre VIZIUM
Description
VIZIUM is a unique science centre committed to introducing children and young people to STEM through technology, workshops and science shows.
The Science Centre transports visitors to a future city with more than 80 interactive and educational exhibits in seven galleries dedicated to technology and science, allowing them to explore science while learning about topics such as physics and mathematics, advanced technology and programming, healthy lifestyle, people and self-discovery, geography, and so much more.
Improvements made within the project
A new infrastructure facility –Ventspils Science Centre – was constructed, housing exhibitions on the preservation of natural heritage, a centre for young natural science researchers, educational tour routes on the city’s and region’s cultural and historical development, an interactive gallery for children, and simulators that engage visitors in the study of natural phenomena.
